More Mobile Tech Announcements on the Way | HTC, Motorola, Microsoft, Nokia, Amazon, Apple
Just in case you had your mind made up already on what device you wanted to purchase going forward…there is more to come this month. So hold the phone on that order!
- Starting Wednesday Sept. 5th, you have Microsoft, Nokia and Motorola all have big announcements on new mobile gear. I’m looking forward to something big from all three of these companies. Their Surface tablet price hopefully for Microsoft but most likely just a launch on their new phone running windows 8.
Motorola looks like that some tricks up their sleeves as well with a heavily talked about new design for their phone. It appears that they will have a second announcement later this month as well. So we will see what they unveil here and now.
- Amazon is gearing up on Thursday with what appears to be their new design of the Kindle Fire (Kindle Fire 2 perhaps?). The rumor mill suggests that there will be 2 versions to choose from and this announcement is one I’m really looking forward to…I have the original which is still very cool in my opinion, but lacked in several areas which Google’s Nexus 7 exploits on big time. We shall see if they can ante up.
- Now the one we’re all waiting for…the mobile trendsetter of our time has everyone waiting and anticipating what is next. So Apple on Sept 12th I suppose we shall see won’t we. We know it should be the iPhone 5 with a bigger screen! Yeah! But will we see the supposed iPad mini as well? Or are we waiting for a separate announcement for that device. Suffice it to say…the entire world can’t wait.
- Then there’s HTC, which has been struggling to gain any ground for quite some time now. Sept. 19th may change that maybe?? Well, it’s gonna be tough going after Apple…probably not the best marketing move ever but we’ll see how this one turns out. Rumors are that they may unveil a 5-inch phablet (tablet phone or phone tablet). Or it may be another Window 8 phone. We shall what’s cooking in the HTC labs soon enough.
So wait before you buy anything till after this month is over. You might be kicking yourself later. If you’re desperate to get a device for your business on the go…hold on just a little while longer. Cuz you just may find something better!
