How to Change Your Facebook Username

Here’s a quick video on how to change your Facebook username to something more memorable. It takes less than a minute.

The first thing you need to do is log into Facebook.

Your screen should look similar to this when logged in (your name will appear instead of mine):

Then, click the little white downward-pointing arrow on the right-hand side:

Next, choose Account Settings:

Then, in the General Account Settings, on the Username line, select “Edit.”

Next, in the Username section, change what is in the box to your new username:

Then enter your password:

Finally, click the “Save Changes” button:

Now, you’re all done—you’ve just changed your Facebook username in less than 1 minute!
