30 Payment Solutions to Sell Your Online Digital Products
One of the main decisions internet marketers face is figuring out what medium to use to sell their digital products through. In the past, you only had a few to choose from but now, the field is wide open to several companies who provide these services.
The problem is choosing which one is best for you. Or if you already have a solution, could there be a better one to match your growing business going forward?
I’ve seen many discussions regarding this topic of which is the best one to choose. I’m not here to really give my opinion but instead provide options for you to make a more informed decision.
I will provide 30 such options in the hopes that one will indeed be the solution for you. So let’s proceed…
What you’ll find in this article:
- Snippet critiques of each payment solution service
- Short List of Features of each service
- Pros of each particular company
- Cons of each particular company
1. PayPal
PayPal is arguably the best payment solution you can use online. It’s reputation proceeds it just by the fact that several companies on this list will interact with it. And though there are some very good services using PayPal for processing, on it’s own, PayPal can do just about anything you need it to sell your products online.
Now internet marketers as of late, have a love/hate relationship with this company. PayPal don’t appreciate the look and feel of some who are making a lot of money. And so they have been closing down lots of accounts because of it (even big time, respected marketers have gotten the ax). They basically want you to look more professional and not be misleading in any way in your sales pages.
However, the fact that you get paid instantly with PayPal is why marketers continue to love this medium for their payment processing. And you won’t find a more secure site when it comes to handling transactions so use them but play nice!
Features:
- Several options to sell products for marketers on different levels.
- No upfront costs for standard users
- Low Transaction fees
- Very secure protection for seller and buyer
- Graphic buy buttons to link to your account
- Access transactions quickly
- Recurring payment system available
- Customers can pay without a PayPal account
Pros:
- Most Respected Company Online for Payment Processing
- Simple to get started and taking transactions online quickly
- Can be used with many platforms online
- Provides a way to get paid instantly
- Provides a way to pay affiliates instantly
Cons:
- Have become too stringent at times shutting down accounts for many internet marketers
- PayPal design is not stellar by any means
- Has very little competition that will match their services
2. 1ShoppingCart
Ok…now we are going into the oldie but goodie section starting with 1ShoppingCart. Now this payment solution is one of the few carts you’ll see on this list. While it’s more focused on creating an e-commerce store, it’s been a trusted source for selling digital products for quite some time. They pretty much have you covered with whatever you want to sell online.
They bring you great support and provide you the tools to get started fast. They’ve been around for a long time so they know exactly how to help your business. I have been told that it may not be the best when comes to set up though so keep that in mind as well.
Features:
- Several professional templates to choose from
- Manage account on Mobile device
- Track performance with order management tools
- Sell more with complementary product feature
- Provide discounts and coupons
- Optimized for search engine traffic
- Upsell and downsell capabilities
- Email marketing functionality
- Unlimited autoresponders
- Ad tracking
- Recurring billing system
- 1-click upsells
Pros:
- 24/7 Premium telephone support
- unlimited bandwith for digital downloads
- Many options to sell physical products
Cons:
- Can be difficult getting things set up for the average marketer
- Affiliate management is not available with the lowest plan
3. RapidActionProfits
Next oldie but goodie is starting to show it’s age but Rapid Action Profits is still a powerhouse. This payment solution is more of a software based program but I felt it needed to be on this list due to it’s history in the internet marketing game. It has just about every feature you can ask for in marketing online, you just need to know how to work it. Yes, I wouldn’t recommend it for people who hate the joy of figuring out things. You’ll see only the major features listed here. But if you go to the site, you’ll view the capabilities of each in great detail.
Features:
- Easy affiliate management
- Revenue sharing options
- Professional Templates to use
- One Time Offer feature
- PayPal instant integration
- Split Testing
- Set discounts with expiration
- Membership functionality with add-ons
- Squeeze page feature to build targeted lists
- Target emails for your various lists
Pros:
- Many options to customize your affiliate campaigns for different JV partners
- Has every feature an internet marketer would need to be successful
Cons:
- Initial cost for the software may be prohibitive for marketers on a budget
- May not be a great for non-techies trying to set up on their own
- Support may not be as strong as some others
4. Click Bank
The next oldie but goodie should be no stranger to anyone cuz it’s still going strong. Most internet marketers have either purchased or sold something from ClickBank in their lifetime for sure. It’s been a very reliable source to establish an affiliate program that gets payouts out like clockwork.
It has taken a hit in recent years with marketers who have mislead people selling fool’s gold with their easy button cash systems. So they have cracked down on these marketers (some still exist). It only makes it harder for honest people who really want to use this service. They too have to feel the wrath of ClickBank’s slaps on their sales pages.
But they are still a staple for selling your products, they get tons of traffic and are great for providing a hands off affiliate program.
Features:
- Huge Marketplace to sell and promote digital products
- Automated payments to affiliates
- Low start up costs
- Up to 75% commission payouts
- Make payments through credit cards or PayPal
- PitchPlus feature adds one-click upsells
- Joint Venture feature allows you to split earnings how you see fit to your JV partners
- Recurring billing capability
- Ad tracking functionality
Pros:
- Extremely reliable source for commission payouts
- Easy set up for promoting other people’s products
Cons:
- Approval policies can be too stringent at times
- Still needs to work further to improve upon their reputation
5. PayDotCom
This is the last oldie but goodie even though I never believed it reached it’s full potential to be in the goodie category. PaydotCom was the first to embrace PayPal using it’s API as a gateway for their digital delivery service. And as a result, they introduced the huge benefit of paying out commissions instantly.
This was supposed to be the competition to ClickBank which paid out commissions every two weeks (they’ve adjusted their payment process since), but it never happened. And although their service is still standing, it really needs a makeover. But it still can get some traffic for you if you list your product in their marketplace.
Features:
- Instant Payment and commission payouts via PayPal
- Recurring billing available
- Ad tracking tools
- Promotional tools for affiliates
- Free sign up
- Promote marketplace products with widgets
- Secure download pages
- Set flexible affiliate percentages on payouts
Pros:
- No approval process
- Can provide some traffic
- Instant payments
Cons:
- Not supported by owners and users alike
- No real expectation of sales in the marketplace due to lack of support
6. PaySpree

PaySpree is another payment solution that has integrated with PayPal as well as a few others. It offers a simple interface that is easy to set up and list your products quickly. It also offers a decent marketplace of products for affiliates to sell and get paid instantly. It’s a straightforward site that one should at least look to list their products in hopes of getting some traction from affiliates. But the lack of features may turn off some in making this their primary gateway.
Features:
- Easy set for listing your digital products
- No product approval process
- Instant payments via PayPal
- Payment flexibility for partners through PayPal, Payza or Moneybookers
- Affiliate management
- Instant dimesales
- Autoresponder integration
- Marketplace set up to promote other people’s products
- Buy now button graphics provided
- Ad Tracking
Pros:
- Payment flexibility lets JV partners choose which vendor they want payments through
- Easy set up to get started fast
Cons:
- Doesn’t appear to be any recent support from site owners
- Navigation could be updated in their Marketplace
- Not as many features as some others
7. PayGear

Here is a service that integrates with PayPal along with Google Checkout. It adds it’s own marketplace as well that is very diverse in its products being sold there. You will find a few more features here but not enough to dazzle you. They also focus on the importance of affiliates as a sales force so they have special tools to keep you connected with them. Should be a decent place to list products but may not have as much traffic as other services.
Features:
- Free sign up & no monthly fees
- Real time reports
- Credit Card, PayPal & Google checkout integration
- Ad tracking
- One click upsells
- Affiliate marketplace available
- Affiliate and marketing tools provided
- Checkout coupon code functionality
- Instant commissions
- Kunaki integration
- Autoresponder integration
- Members Gear membership software add-on
Pros:
- Option of different payment processers
- Kunaki integration is great for physical products
- Simplified fee system
Cons:
- Traffic may not be as good as some others
8. WarriorPlus
These next few services take us into the Warrior Zone…The Warrior Forum that is! And love it or hate it, The Warrior Forum is a great place to sell your products because most of the visitors are buyers…and repeat buyers…and double repeat buyers and so on…and so on.
And the first service to capitalize on this was WarriorPlus created by Mike Lantz. He introduced the WSO of the Day concept and totally changed the culture of the forum. The only thing is that his service could be costly to some as you would pay a whopping $19 for each listing of your product through WarriorPlus. And that’s on top of paying the $40 cost to pay for the Warrior Forum Special Offer ad space.
But if your product was good…uh great, you would catch the eyes of Mike Lantz and get him as an affiliate…uh super affiliate. He would choose your product as WSO of the Day and send his huge list to buy it up. This normally ends up being over a 1k sales in a very short amount of time.
It’s like winning the lottery because now you have a rabid list of buyers you can sell to over and over again. A win-win situation for sure unless you aren’t chosen, and now you’re instantly in the hole for $60. Not a ton of money but enough for those on a budget.
But the best thing about this site is that you still have a ton of super affiliates who are signed on to WarriorPlus. And they have adjusted their pricing structure thanks to recent competition. So it’s still a great place to list your product that works hand-in-hand with the Warrior Forum special offer format.
Features:
- Huge Marketplace for listing digital products
- Instant commissions
- Ad tracking
- Affiliate management
- One time offers and upsell functionality
- Dimesale setup
- recurring billing feature
- 1-click refunds
- Autoresponder integration
- WSO Alerts
Pros:
- Supported by many of the top players of The Warrior Forum
- Possible award of having the “WSO of the Day”
- Huge marketplace of products to choose from daily
- Option for a one time fee payment once or on a percentage basis for each product launch
Cons:
- Stringent, annoying affiiliate approval process
- Could use a makeover in its site design and graphic buy buttons
9. DigiResults
Here is the second real service provided by Andy Fletcher to compete for clients in the Warrior Forum. This service gained a lot of momentum at first but cooled off recently only as it pertains to the Warrior Forum. You definitely can and should use this service outside of the Warrior Forum itself (just to clarify).
Digiresults is shockingly easy to list and start selling your products fast. But they have not created as many updates to their services as others you’ll see have. However, I would definitely list your product here as it gets traffic and many top marketers are familiar with using this service. Some even prefer this one over WarriorPlus in many ways.
Features:
- Instant payouts via PayPal
- Offer up 100% commissions
- No sign up fee
- Easy product listing set up
- ClickBank and Paydotcom Integration
- Automatic refund reversal
- Premium support
- Marketplace available
- Affiliate management
Pros:
- Option to work with other payment processors
- Extremely easy setup
Cons:
- Not as many features as some others
- Marketplace could have better navigation
10. SimpleOneClick
The next service coming into the world of the Warrior Forum was created by Mike Cowles. SimpleOneClick was a promising service that got momentum and tailed off as well. You have another amazingly simple service that anyone can get their product up and running fast. You also get better looking buy button than most out there. This service can be used outside of the Warrior Forum as well.
Another one to list your products through as you should still get some traffic from it. And one of the few to only ask for 3% per transaction fee. And although this service isn’t what it was, something tells me there is an update in the works to get this one right back up to speed.
Features:
- Instant payouts via PayPal
- Offer up 100% commissions
- No sign up fee
- Easy product listing set up
- Residual tracking to sell multiple offers
- Affiliate management
- Cloaked link feature
- Marketplace available
- Graphic buttons provided
- Dimesale functionality
Pros:
- Extremely simple set up
- Easy setup to promote other people’s products
- Stylish graphic buy buttons
- 3% fee per transaction is very low
Cons:
- Can be slow on email support at times
- Not as many features as some others
11. JVZoo
This particular service has taken the Warrior Forum by storm. In less than a year’s time, they’ve transformed into one of the fastest growing platforms for selling products online. JVZoo is the main competition for WarriorPlus, as it’s forced them to change their pricing structure.
With that being said, this company has focused on listening to it’s users and added feature after feature after feature. So much so that I can hardly keep up with the changes. The gripe I had (besides its name), was the look and feel of the brand. I thought the look wasn’t as professional as its service would suggest.
No more can I say that. They have just transformed their site (the logo..eh?), and look to dominate for some time to come. I listed quite a few of the features below but they have more. I would suggest definitely looking into this one.
Features:
- Instant payouts via PayPal
- Offer up 100% commissions
- No sign up fee
- Easy product listing set up
- Affiliate management

Pros:
- Incredibly feature rich service
- Owners listen to their members and act on it
- Supported by many of the top players of The Warrior Forum
Cons:
- Could beef up their customer service
- Customers get placed into the
12. Zaxaa
This company is one the last companies to join the fray into the Warrior Forum madness somewhat. They have sold on the warrior forum but they are definitely not just about that. They are going all out to get your business right now by putting their service out there for free (at the time of this writing). Zaxaa has a ton of features they offer to combat the competition and a very simplistic dashboard to boot. Their products are pretty much top notch so this delivery system should be no exception. It’s in beta mode right now but one to keep your eye on if only to use it now while it’s free.
Features:
- Instant payouts via PayPal
- Offer up 100% commissions
- No sign up fee
- Easy product listing set up
- Create unlimited affiliate programs
- Recurring billing with trials
- Real time tracking

- Pay in installments capability
- Amazon s3 integration
Pros:
- Tons of features to compete with other services
- Great ownership
- Stylish graphic buttons that are customizable
- Set up is very straight forward in accessing all of its features
Cons:
- Could use more training tutorials
- May need some more support from vendors to gain traction
13. ProductPay

This company chose not to join ‘em but beat ‘em by starting a new company to integrate with the newly formed ForumSpecialOffers.com. Now it’s another forum to compete with The Warrior Forum that actually has some traffic there. And it has some top marketers using it to the fullest…since it’s cheaper!
And ProductPay is quite a feature rich service and a breeze to get started. It’s pushing some serious traffic right now partly from the forum but can definitely be used on your own site as well. They integrate only with PayPal so you’ll need an account through them.
And although the look of the service is still a little HTMLish…it still does the job in a way that is extremely simple to understand. The videos explaining each part of the process…priceless. Great for super non-techies like me.
Features:
- Instant payouts via PayPal

Cons:
- Recurring billing not available as of this writing
14. CartFreak
This is another cart service that brings more to the table than just simply a shopping cart. CartFreak makes this list because of who it originates from. Joe Lavery, the creator is one of the smartest internet marketers out there. And this service he provides with CartFreak was meant to be smart for the you to receives maximum conversions.
It’s main feature is customizable checkout pages. So basically, you don’t have to be transferred over to a third party to make the actual payment. With CartFreak, they stay on your site to make the entire purchase. This increases conversion for the seller and provides peace of mind for the buyer.
A great incentive to give this payment solution a try. However, there is an upfront cost that continues monthly. So…something to keep in mind if you are on a strict budget or just starting out.
Features:
- Flexible Shopping Cart
- Single page checkout
- Accept credit cards and PayPal
- Recurring billing

15. NanaCast
Nanacast is the payment gateway for the Big Dogs! You go here when you want more control of your overall business as it’s expanding and growing. You get every feature imaginable for even the pickiest online marketer. The prices are fairly reasonable for what it offers as well…It just flat out rocks!
Now the only thing about this service is that it’s a bear to figure out. User friendly is not in its DNA. So if you like figuring out things, this one is a match made in heaven for you. And people who know that you’re using Nanacast, usually perceive you as someone who is serious about their business.

16. fusionhq
FusionHQ has a very stylish, modern day look to it as you’ll see more of going down this list. And it’s drag and drop claim to fame really is an internet marketer’s dream…well at least the non-techie ones.
You can drag and drop your entire site through their page builder. And you’ll be up and running in no time with something that looks and feels professional. There are a ton of features that make this one definitely something to look at.
However, I’m a bit down on the pricing of the services. The drag and drop feature shouldn’t bump the price up that much. I do like the fact that it creates an entire sales funnel for you supposedly in 60 seconds. That’s killer! And it just simply looks great.
So I like it but can’t love it on price alone but that’s me. It may not be a factor for you.
Features:
- Business templates
- Drag and drop sales funnels
- Extensive Membership site functionality

- Drag and drop feature is always a plus
Cons:
- May be a bit pricey for those on a budget
- No autoresponder integration
17. Click2Sell
Click2Sell can be hard to reach online because its extension is not .com, .net, .biz or anything of the other familiar ones. You have to go to Click2Sell.eu to find them. And once you do, you’ll find a very user friendly, feature rich platform to sell your online products.
There is an easy format to set up your product and get it listed on their marketplace fast. They provide a default thank you page which actually looks very cool or you can use your own. You simply upload your file to their server, upload your image and give them your website url… and you’re good to go. Very easy process the way it should be.

- Unlimited products can be added
Cons:
- Could use some video tutorials
18. BlueSnap
Bluesnap, has been around for a bit moreso (or {more so} for your english major critics) by it’s former name Plimus. It provides a very secure place to sell your products as their is a review process for all new members upon submitting your first product.
Although I’m not a big fan of their micromanaging of new members with an approval process, I get the reasons behind it. Similar to ClickBank, they want you to provide a quality digital product without a misleading sales page. No biggie.
But on a positive note, believing in providing quality products is a good thing. Plus they provide enough features to satisfy most internet marketers and enough traffic to warrant listing your stuff to their marketplace.
Features:
- No sign up fee
- Low cost payment fee structure
- Affiliate management
- Recurring billing
- Real time reporting
- Bundling & upsell functionality

- Premium customer support

- Check out customization to help with branding
Cons:
- Not as many features as some others
19. E-Junkie
E-Junkie has never been my favorite, probably cuz the site always looked kinda junky to me (I do love the animated logo though). Nonetheless, this is a very powerful, robust delivery service that has real heavy hitters using it. And there is obvious reasons why.
The pricing for their service is probably unmatched in the industry. And they have a plethora of features to make sure you make the most out of your customer’s experience. I honestly can’t find much wrong with this payment solution. It’s really one of the best around with a strong reputation for quality service online.
Features:
- Flat monthly rate fee structure
- Affiliate management
- Recurring billing
- Real time reporting
- Coupon/discount capabilities
- Premium customer support
- Marketplace available
- Digital servers available to store your product downloads
- Copy-paste buy now buttons
- Supports multiple payment processors

- Low cost, simplified payment fees
- Highy trusted site for years
- Plenty of features
Cons:
- Marketplace could use better navigation to target product in specific categories
20. DPD

DPD is another site that’s hard to get to if you don’t know the domain name. You have to go to getdpd.com and not dpd.com. And when you get there, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the operations within.
DPD, which stands for digital product delivery, does a lot of what you want for marketing products online. The features are plentiful and they continue to expand. The monthly fee system is very competitive for this market.
The only thing that is not good for some is the lack of instant payouts for your affiliates. However, the manual process of sending out payments is easily done at the click of button. I would love to see it offer phone support but you can’t have it all…almost all ain’t bad though.
Features:
- Flat rate payment fee structure
- Subscription based payment capability
- Sales Tracking
- Bundling & upsell functionality
- Coupon/discount capabilities
- Marketplace available
- Autoresponder integration with several major companies
- Tangible goods support
- Built in custom newsletters
- Mobile device ready
- Multi language checkout
- Download link renewals
- Digital servers available to store your product downloads
- Activation keycodes for software products
- Custom Buy buttons
- Quick review copy distribution
Pros:
- No per sale fees
- No file size limits
- Send review copies to any email
- Easy copy-paste set up
- Very flexible monthly plans
Cons:
- No instant payment system for affiliates
21.Pulley

Here’s a cool site that brings simplicity, a modern design, and competitive pricing all-in-one. It’s really a delight (yes I said delight) to see a site look this good and still provide a great service too. It’s probably the best interface I’ve seen on this list for sure. Now there aren’t a lot features but you can start selling your digital goods quick fast!
And since this is an off-shoot of Big Cartel, if you have an account there, you can import your products into the Pulleyapp. Absolutely worth a look see.
Features:
- Flat rate payment fee structure
- Instant payouts to PayPal Account
- Real-time Stats
- Digital servers available to store your product downloads
- Custom Buy buttons
- Secure download links emailed automatically
- 14-day free trial
Pros:
- No per sale fees
- Low cost monthly payment fees
- Cancel, upgrade, downgrade at anytime
- Great modern-day design
- Simple dashboard
Cons:
- No affiliate management system
- Not as many features as some others
22. Sellfy

Just after me gushing over the design of the Pulleyapp, in comes another one in Sellfy that brings its own modern day look. The pricing structure is just the opposite of Pulley, as it charges a 5% fee per transaction. The social media discount option helps you get more traffic. And they also set you up with an affiliate program with literally just a few clicks.
Great features without the mumbo jumbo techie crap. Just upload your file and in less than say…five minutes, you are done.
So at this point, it’s just a matter of choice as what is best for you. Both of these sites are impressive, although I can’t vouch for the support. But in any case, Sellfy, is a serious contender.
Features:
- No upfront costs
- 5% per transaction
- Instant payouts to PayPal Account
- Real-time Stats
- Digital servers available to store your product downloads
- Custom Buy buttons
- Secure download links emailed automatically
- Affiliate management
- Social share discounts
Pros:
- Easy set up
- Simplified dashboard
Cons:
- Looks almost too simple
- Could use more features for serious marketing
23. BitBuffet

BitBuffet ends our streak of cool site designs to opt for a more throwback look. Which is ok because they have some decent features along with competitive pricing. One of their key features is their “Pay what you want model”. This allows you to give your customer the option to pay a donation of any amount for your product.
You get a free trial and a cool walkthrough to get you started and it’s simple enough for most to understand. They advertise a 2 months free coupon on the site. I advise you use it…of course.
Features:
- Flat rate payment fee structure
- Instant payouts to PayPal Account
- Real-time Stats
- Digital servers available to store your product downloads
- Customized thank you page, email follow up
- Secure download links emailed automatically
- Quick download link renewal system
- 7-day free trial
Pros:
- Great tutorial explaining start up
- Low cost monthly fee structure
- Coupon incentive is for 2 months free
Cons:
- Some additional setup in PayPal integration
- No real custom graphic button without knowing HTML
- Lack of features for serious internet marketers
- No affiliate management system
24. Payloadz

Payloadz has been around for awhile and probably should have been in the oldie but goodie section. I didn’t realize they originated in 2002. So they have some experience and decent traffic coming through their service.
You are given a 7-day free trial but the pricing structure is a bit of a miss to me. They sting you with both a monthly fee and a per transaction fee which is not good. They offer a lot of features however and support several processors, currencies and Ebay.
Features:
- Instant payouts to PayPal Account
- Real-time Stats
- Digital servers available to store your product downloads
- Custom Buy buttons
- Secure download links emailed automatically
- Discount coupon code capability
- Marketplace store available
- Affiliate management
- Supports several payment processors
- 7-day free trial
- Product key security feature
- Supports Ebay auctions
- Send review copies automatically via email
Pros:
- Quick set up
- One of the few to have an actual store with great navigation to all products
Cons:
- Could use some more features
- No custom graphic buttons
- Cost of service is not competitive
25. Content Shelf

ContentShelf is a fairly new upgrade to what was formerly known as Digital Content Center. It’s definitely a better looking site for sure as you can see I favor great design. They have a ton of features that pretty much has everything covered and the pricing is competitive.
Support may be tricky as apparently, you will not get phone support in the “Lite” package. So email is it which most companies only have anyway. But besides that, it looks like a decent service to look into for sure.
Features:
- Free sign up
- Instant payouts to PayPal Account
- Real-time Stats
- Upsell capability
- Recurring billing
- Unlimited transactions & bandwidth
- Digital servers available to store your product downloads
- Custom Buy buttons
- Secure download links emailed automatically
- Discount coupon code capability
- Built in referral system
- Supports several payment processors
- 7-day free trial

26. Fetchapp
Fetchapp is another modern day designed site that has service that is a bit of a hit and miss for me. The navigation on the site itself is a mystery. And the support seems to be a bit a suspect too. Although they do have a decent amount of features and competitive pricing. I’m listing it but not really recommending it. But that’s me…You decide on this one.
Features:
- Free sign up
- Instant payouts to PayPal Account
- Sales tracking
- Unlimited transactions & bandwidth
- Digital servers available to store your product downloads
- Choice to specify when download links will expire
- Secure download links emailed automatically
- Built in referral system

Cons:
- Needs more features
- No affiliate management
27. Payza
We’re now going into some of the PayPal alternatives beginning with Payza. They recently took over AlertPay. So they are one of the PayPal substitutes, if you’re tired of the somewhat monopoly strangehold it has in this industry.
They have a very simple setup that is refreshing compared to PayPal and from my experience, they do pick up the phone…I didn’t get the best info but they did pick up the phone (rather quickly I might add). So that’s something. If there was more support by other marketers, I can see going with them.
Features:
- Free sign up
- Direct payment processing
- Real-time Stats
- Upsell capability
- Recurring billing
- Simplified set up
- Custom graphic buy buttons
- Send and receive funds
- Developer tools
Pros:
- Easy account set up
- Alternative to PayPal
Cons:
- Customer service has been known to not be the best around
- Needs more support from online marketers
28. Skrill-Moneybookers
Skrill, which is moneybookers too…who knows. But this is another alternative to PayPal that has a very simple set up as well, phone support, and the essential features for internet marketers to work with on selling their products. A ton of traffic is going through this service so you’re in good company if you’re thinking of trying them out…instead of PayPal.
Features:
- Free sign up
- Direct payment processing
- Real-time Stats
- Upsell capability
- Recurring billing
- Supports multiple currencies
- Immediate merchant account activation
- Accept transactions over the phone with Virtual Terminal
- eCommerce Shopping Cart software
Pros:
- Easy account set up
- Virtual Terminal is a great selling tool
Cons:
- Needs more support from online marketers
29. PaySimple
PaySimple is a simple to you use processing system as its name suggests. Their dashboard is so simple in fact that you feel like there should be more to it. There is a demo that you can use but beware…you have to enter your phone number in order to view it and they call you as soon as you send it through. So they are good (or annoying) at sales but this also means they have great support. Anyway, it’s a nice professional way to collect and track your sales online. So not PayPal but PaySimple, a nice alternative.
Features:
- Easy to use dashboard
- Easily track the performance of your campaigns
- Manage recurring payments
- Collect credit card & echecks
- Manage business with mobile apps
- Electronic invoicing
- Customer Notifications
Pros:
- Easy to use dashboard
- recurring payment capabilities
- mobile management
Cons:
- Monthly and per transaction fee cost could be a deal breaker for some
- Not many features
30. Amazon Simple Pay

Last but not least, we have Amazon, who is trying now to corner the market in everything. And they now have something called Amazon Simple Pay which is something to pay attention to…
Just think, they have millions of subscribers already locked in and familiar with the Amazon brand. Millions of satisfied customers might I add that will be happy to see the Amazon pay button on your site.
The only drawback about Amazon is that they have a tendency to be too verbose in what they want to offer you. So for developers, it’s great, but for the average marketer…if you click the “learn more” link or the “See how it works” link, you’re going to dwell in verbal hell. But if you hit the “Create button” link, you may be going places.
A developer (hint, hint) would do good by setting a platform through their API, to make it simpler for us non-techies. If I had a developer, I would put that together (sadly I don’t). So there goes a project for someone out there. But all in all, the power of Amazon to sell your digital products is obviously a great way to go.
Features:
- Free sign up
- Instant payouts to PayPal Account
- Real-time Stats
- Upsell capability
- Subscription based billing
- Digital servers available to store your product downloads
- Custom Buy buttons
- Secure download links emailed automatically
- Discount coupon code capability
- Logo customization payment pages
- Customers can use existing Amazon Account to purchase products
- Marketplace available
- Inline checkout
- Free trial capability
- Discount functionality
Pros:
- Get the power and reliability of Amazon
- Inline Checkout that keeps the customer on your site is very intriguing
Cons:
- Navigation on how to set up can be challenging
Final Analysis
Think about the payment options as far as the what you’ll be using it for now and in the future. So the solutions with more features are something to consider long term as your business grows. Also the ability to grow a sales force requires the functionality of setting up an affiliate program. Some have that, some don’t. Also, for day to day use, it’s much more satisfying to have a dashboard that is user friendly in look and feel. And from there…it’s up you.
If I missed some on this list or if some of my info is not correct, please let me know in the comments. I have no problem updating this post. Thanks.
